Vietnam and China Customs cooperate to facilitate border trade

Efficiency in cross-border trade continues to improve according to the agreements reached.

The Customs Departments of 3 provinces of Lang Son, Cao Bang and Quang Ninh and the Customs Department of Nanning, China have agreed to continue cooperation and facilitate trade exchanges between businesses of the two countries.

The two sides reached an agreement at the 9th dialogue held recently in Quang Ninh.

The two sides noted that after the Eighth Dialogue held in November, thanks to joint efforts, the customs clearance of goods through border gates has improved with a higher level of efficiency.

Data from the customs departments show that the total import and export turnover through the border gates in Quang Ninh province reached over US$852 million, Lang Son reached US$22.6 billion, Cao Bang reached US$268 billion since then. 8th Dialogue.
