Canadian delegation to visit in March to seek business cooperation

Fields of potential include IT, new technology, and green energy.

A delegation of Canadian businesses is scheduled to visit Vietnam from March 27-29, 2024 to seek cooperative opportunities in various fields, according to the Vietnamese Trade Office in Canada.

It will focus on potential areas such as processed food, green energy, new technology, information technology, creative technology, and aviation technology.

This will be the second business trip organized by the Canadian Government within its Indo-Pacific Strategy (IPS).

After 50 years of diplomatic relations and seven years of a comprehensive partnership, relations between Vietnam and Canada have developed positively in all fields, particularly economy, trade, investment, culture, society, science and technology, and education and training, according to the Trade Office.

Vietnam has become a leading trade partner of Canada in ASEAN, while Canada is Vietnam’s second-largest trade partner in the Americas.
