Strictly comply with quality regulations
According to economic experts, many exported agricultural products have decreased due to the impact of the world market, political fluctuations in countries and the effects of climate change. Besides, agricultural exports are still unsustainable, when the quality is not uniform, the export market is loosely established, there is no durability, and the brand has not been affirmed.
Notably, the Korean Ministry of Food Safety and Drugs informed that Vietnam’s dried red peppers violated food safety regulations. Previously, the EU market also warned about the quality of some other Vietnamese agricultural products, such as fresh vegetables, fruits, and rice. This is a warning bell that Vietnamese agricultural products need to eliminate and create a place and position in the world agricultural supply market.
Reality shows that in order to export sustainably, businesses must comply with requirements from import markets. Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Phung Duc Tien said that to establish a sustainable market, businesses need to organize production according to VietGAP, GlobalGAP standards and importing country standards. At the same time, must comply with regulations on quality standards, testing, quarantine, packaging, product traceability…
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development always accompanies businesses in market negotiations as well as controlling farming and growing areas. The Ministry also focuses on processed products to increase value, ensure product quality, and promote the unique strengths of Vietnamese agricultural products.
According to Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will coordinate with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to analyze the market, focusing on strong products to boost exports, compensate for declining products, and promote exports. strive to reach the target of 55 billion USD as the target set for 2023.
The last 2 months of the year require both farmers and businesses to maintain quality and ensure supply. On this basis, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Industry and Trade focus on promoting trade in traditional markets such as the US, China, Japan, EU… with advantageous products, while promoting negotiations. to diversify agricultural products officially exported to many markets.
