I. Job Description – Export Sales Manager
1. Advisory and Planning:
- Advise and support the Director and Business Development Board on business activities; take full responsibility for tasks within the assigned scope.
- Assist the Director and Business Development Board in developing sales procedures for the department to ensure smooth coordination and effective control of related activities.
- Develop annual sales plans for the department to meet targets assigned by the Director, Business Development Board, and Executive Board.
2. Organization and Execution:
- Organize and take responsibility for the implementation and task allocation for staff/specialists within the Business Development Board under management.
- Accompany staff/specialists in welcoming, negotiating, and maintaining relationships with international clients.
- Coordinate with the Product and Operations Department to monitor orders and production schedules.
- Lead market development initiatives to expand market presence, increase market share, and drive company revenue growth.
- Conduct market research, analysis, forecasting, and customer demand assessment; identify key product categories for priority and proactively propose business strategies and market expansion plans.
- Seek new customers and expand distribution channels.
- Participate in sales activities and review solutions for situations beyond the company’s sales policy, supporting staff in customer prospecting, quotations, and client servicing.
- Organize data collection and analysis on customer groups, purchasing behavior, payment characteristics, and purchasing power to build effective approaches.
- Take part in recruiting and training department staff, including setting standards, interviewing, evaluating, and making hiring decisions.
- Prepare periodic reports on the department’s business performance.
3. Supervision and Control:
- Manage and oversee business operations within the assigned scope.
- Monitor the execution of business plans, evaluate plan effectiveness, and provide recommendations to the Director and Business Development Board.
- Track, review, and assess the performance of each staff member/specialist under supervision.
4. Reporting and Information Management:
- Submit regular reports on business performance and activities to the Director and Business Development Board.
- Carry out additional tasks and reports as required by the Director, Business Development Board, or Deputy General Director in charge.
II. Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as Export Sales Manager in the confectionery industry.
- Male/Female, Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Proficient in English/Chinese/Japanese (other languages are a plus).
- Willingness and ability to travel for business trips.
- Strong market awareness in the confectionery sector, with solid understanding of competitors and supply chains; ability to analyze customer psychology and demands.
- In-depth knowledge of international markets and export documentation requirements.
