HUNGHAU FOODS WELCOMES GERMAN BUSINESS DELEGATION TO PROMOTE DONG THAP AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS GLOBALLY

On May 23, 2025, HungHau Foods Joint Stock Company, in collaboration with departments and agencies of Dong Thap province, welcomed a delegation of businesses from the Federal Republic of Germany to visit the HFV factory (HungHau Vegetables Co., Ltd.). The event marked an important step in the strategy to introduce the province’s key agricultural products—such as seafood, rice, fruits, and frozen vegetables—into leading supermarket chains in Germany.

Attendees included representatives from Dong Thap provincial authorities as well as the executive board and management staff of HungHau Foods. During the visit, the company presented its production and export capabilities of major agricultural products to the German business delegation.

HungHau Foods currently operates the HungHau Vegetables Co., Ltd. (HFV factory) on a 14,000 m² site, with a production capacity of 2,500 tons per month, specializing in fresh and frozen products such as durian, mango, dragon fruit, banana, and pineapple, exported to over 80 countries. In addition to the South Korean market, key markets such as the EU, Germany, and Israel are also experiencing strong growth.

At the meeting, representatives of the German businesses shared their import demands from Europe and expressed interest in technical standards in production, as well as regulations on pesticide residue control, to ensure the products meet distribution system requirements. After the meeting, the delegation conducted an on-site visit to HungHau Vegetables Co., Ltd., observing firsthand the production, preprocessing, and freezing processes of fruits and vegetables.

This meeting not only created practical business opportunities but also helped promote the image of Đồng Tháp’s high-quality and sustainable agriculture, ready for international integration.
