OChao rice straws from Hung Hau Foods Joint Stock Company (Hung Hau Foods) is honored to achieve Vietnam National Brand certification in 2024. The product is made 100% from natural ingredients in Sa Dec City’s 100-year-old rice flour village, beneficial for consumers’ health and environmentally friendly.

In 2024, with its outstanding features perfectly aligned with the program’s theme “Rising into the Green Era”, OChao rice straws were honored to receive the Vietnam Value certification. Previously, the company had consecutively achieved this prestigious national certification four times with its Happy Food frozen food product line.
Since its market launch, OChao straws have gained strong support from both domestic consumers and international markets. The product is manufactured on production lines that guarantee food hygiene and safety standards, meeting stringent international certifications including BRC, ISO 22000, HACCP, HALAL, and FDA. Each product undergoes rigorous quality control before market release.

All OChao rice straws feature natural colors made from vegetables and fruits (such as beetroot, black sesame…), making these straws completely edible. The colors of the rice straws are equally attractive as plastic straws while being safe for consumers. Since the product is made from 100% plant-based materials, the decomposition time of these straws is only about one month.
When stored under normal conditions, the product can be used effectively for up to 18 months. For use in normal-temperature water and cold water environments, the usage time lasts from 30 minutes to 2 hours while maintaining its shape, and the product will self-decompose after use.
