HUNGHAU FOODS OFFICIALLY RECOGNIZED AS A “HO CHI MINH CITY GREEN ENTERPRISE 2025”

On December 22, 2025, HungHau Foods Joint Stock Company (HungHau Foods) was awarded the “Ho Chi Minh City Green Enterprise 2025” title, recognizing the company’s persistent efforts in responsible production and sustainable development. This is a prestigious city-level award, led by the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and co-organized by Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper and the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association.

Ms. Nguyen Yen – General Director of HungHau Foods Joint Stock Company and Vice Chairman of FMCG Group – received the Green Enterprise award.

The awarding ceremony was held in a formal atmosphere with the participation of city leaders, representatives from management agencies, associations, and the local business community. Under the theme “Green Enterprise – Building a Green City”, the award honors exemplary enterprises in green transformation, environmental protection, and sustainable development, aiming at green growth linked with international economic integration.

A total of 155 enterprises qualified for the Ho Chi Minh City Green Enterprise 2025 title, including 77 manufacturing companies and 78 companies in trade, services, and real estate.

In addition to general criteria such as full compliance with environmental regulations, waste treatment standards, tax and insurance obligations, and social responsibility, manufacturing companies like HungHau Foods are also required to produce environmentally friendly products that meet international quality and food safety standards such as ISO and HACCP.

Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha, Permanent Vice Chairman of the HCMC People’s Committee, highly appreciated the awarded companies for actively complying with waste management regulations, investing in research and technology, improving processes, and producing eco-friendly products. He hopes that these enterprises will continue contributing to the development of a green and sustainable economy.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoa, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association and Head of the Organizing Committee, also emphasized:
“The title not only recognizes efforts in environmental protection but, more importantly, establishes a standard framework for Vietnamese enterprises to gradually integrate into global green standards. This is a long-term investment process that requires persistence, transparency, and strategic planning.”
