Vietnam’s seafood has also grown from 1 billion USD in export turnover in 2000, up to now, it has reached 11 billion USD. The export turnover of agricultural, forestry and fishery products this year totaled more than 53 billion USD. This is clearly a number, a result that speaks volumes.

In 2022, Vietnam’s agriculture will continue to have 11 groups of products with export turnover of over 1 billion USD, of which 7 items with turnover over 3 billion USD are wood and wood products, shrimp, coffee, and rice. , rubber; vegetables, cashews. The trade surplus of the whole industry is estimated at 8.5 billion USD, up 30% compared to last year.

“When inflation in other countries is high, this is both a challenge and an opportunity. Second is the increase in input prices. Therefore, we set a target of 10 billion with a modest level. Fresh pomelo is the 7th fruit of Vietnam allowed to be imported into the US market.

The export market continues to be expanded in both categories and products, in parallel with the focus on the domestic market, which will be the basis for the goal of the agricultural product export turnover of 2023 reaching 54 billion USD.

“The year 2023 will be the year to review the structure of each value chain, each specific product. We do not develop massively leading to rushing to plant durian trees but forget other agricultural products. The second is the result.
