Currently, Ngoc Hoang cooperative is linking with reputable import-export companies in the country to introduce products to international markets. Recently, the third shipment in 2023 was exported to France and the Netherlands with an output of 2 tons. Although the output is not much, this is an important step to promote and introduce Son La’s red flesh dragon fruit to the world market.

The export of fruit to foreign markets is the main goal that many cooperatives in Son La are aiming for. To meet the needs of the export market, Ngoc Hoang cooperative is currently focusing on developing 300 ha raw material areas in the districts: Mai Son, Thuan Chau, Yen Chau, Moc Chau, Song Ma and Sop Cop… Toan All areas of dragon fruit are applied clean production processes in the direction of organic, Vietgap, Globalgap…

With an area of 300 hectares, this year the cooperative is expected to collect about 3,000 tons of fresh fruit and export 2,000 tons, contributing to expanding the consumption market and improving the economic value of dragon fruit.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh, Director of Ngoc Hoang Cooperative said: “This year the cooperative has signed a contract with 5 partners. The average weekly delivery by air is 6 tons. It is expected to be delivered to the system. EU and Middle East exports this year are expected to be 2,000 tonnes.
